Henshall Centre - London
Our London training suite is located inside the stylish Business Design Centre on Islington's fashionable and bustling Upper Street. Click here to download directions. As you will see from the map, when you walk from the Angel tube station, BDC is on your left. From Highbury and Islington station, you are coming down from the top of the map. So BDC is on your right. It is a striking building (see picture for the view from Upper Street), set back slightly with traffic lights at its entrance. It is hard to miss, but not impossible.
The concierge desk just inside the entrance will direct you to our suite.
It is a short walk from Angel tube station, a slightly longer walk from Highbury & Islington tube station and a short taxi ride from King's Cross Station.
There is an on-site car park with 100 spaces, charged at £3.00 per hour for cars and £5.50 per day for motorcycles. Additional parking can be found in the nearby N1 shopping centre's multi-story car park.
The centre is just outside London's congestion charge area, which ends at City Road/Pentonville Road, shown at the bottom of our map. Those roads are not subject to the charge.
Please note: we have no staff based in Islington. They are all in Bristol.
If you need somewhere to stay, there is a fully air-conditioned, four star Hilton International Hotel immediately alongside the Business Design Centre. A short walk away in Pentonville Road is a Jury's Inn. And at the budget end, Islington's conservation area, about a twenty minute walk away along the Essex Road, has numerous B&Bs. One which has received favourable comments from past delegates is the family-run Kandara Guest House.
Upper Street itself has too many restaurants and bars to mention, just in case you prefer not to join your fellow delegates for the lunch we provide in the Business Design Centre's food court.
You might want to check the Business Design Centre's list of shows, in case one catches your interest. You may be able to attend a course at the same time, which will give you free entry to the show. And, even if you can't, contact your account manager. He or she can often get our clients free or cut-price tickets.
Henshall Centre - Wiltshire
All administrative and accounting staff are based at our office in Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire.
Ashton Keynes is as different from busy Islington as you can get. It is a typical Cotswolds village, right on the border between Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
North End House sits in a farmyard setting. Horses and chickens roam free and can, on occasions, pop their heads in at the window to say Hello.
And all a 20 minute drive from Swindon station and its one hour connection to Paddington.
